Do I need a social security number to apply?
No, you do not need a social security number to become a member of Healthy Adults insurance.

Is this a one year contract?
Yes, Healthy Adults is a one year minimum contract.  If you cancel in the first 12 months of the contract there will be a $250.00 early termination fee.

Is this a family plan?
No, the medical insurance is for the primary applicant only, however your family will have access to the association benefits, such as dental, vision and the discounted pharmacy plan.

Is this a government plan?
No, Healthy Adults is an independent insurance plan.

Can I include my children?
No, Healthy Adults is only for people between the ages of 18-60.  At the present time, we are only offering coverage to adults.

Is Healthy Adults income based?
No, Healthy Adults is not an income based health plan.  Healthy Adults premiums are based on age alone.

Does Healthy Adults cover hospitalization?
No, HA does not cover hospitalization.  Healthy Adults is a primary care physician based health plan with limited access to specialists. We want to keep you in your doctors office and out of the hospital.  Healthy Adults covers unlimited visits to your primary care physician for only a $10 co-pay per visit. We do, however, have Urgent Care coverage.  &ldquo Urgent Care&rdquo are clinics (usually 24 hours a day) that handle most of your medical needs.

Can I go to any doctor I want?
Yes, you can go to any primary care physician that you want, as long as they agree to our contract terms located on the Healthy Adults insurance card.  If you cannot find a doctor in your area, our Customer Service staff will be more than happy to assist you in finding one.

What do I need to qualify?
All you need to qualify is be between the ages of 18 and 60.  Have no pre-existing conditions and a have a Body Mass Index of lower than 40.  You do not need to have a social security number to be eligible for Healthy Adults.
